He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cleveland and Leah Cleveland (Smith); his former wife Shirley Cleveland; his stepchildren, Brenda Ronning and Bryan Bates; his brothers, Raymond Cleveland and Jerry Cleveland; and his grandson Andrew Cleveland.

He is survived by: his wife Marva Cleveland; his children, Deborah Cook (Dennis), Richard Cleveland, Ardis Johnson, Brian Cleveland (Amy) and Rhonda Cleveland (Terri Crabtree); his stepchildren, Joseph Knutson, Paul Knutson (Anna) and Paulette Ronning (David); and his siblings, Glenna Drummond, Gloria Bates, Esther Hill, Robert "Bob" Cleveland (Judy), Richard Cleveland and Judy Mcpheron. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 Great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Lakeside Community Church.
