He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mode Bowman and Virgie Bowman; his sibling Esteleen McDonald; his spouse Sally Ann Merica; his children, Karl Frederick Bowman (Gale) of Raleigh, Eileen Bowman Stoffan of Muskegon and Kent Edward Bowman (Cherie) of Detroit; his great grandchild Karl Frederick Bowman, Jr. (Melissa); his children, Emma, Cameron, Alexander Philip Stoffan and Merica Stoffan Dobry (Eric); and his grandchildren, Margaret, Thomas, Brooks Edward Bowman (Jennifer), Peter James Stoffan, Christian Edward Stoffan (Kristy), Sean Edward Bowman, Robert LeRoy, Christina Marie Bowman and Derek Edward Bowman. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren.
