He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Whipple and Hazel Whipple; and his brother-in-law Larry Bourgoin. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Nathan Whipple (Carrie); his stepson John Rumpel; his grandchildren, Collin, Caden and Christian; his sister Diann Bourgoin; his nephew Michael Bourgoin (Jan); his great-nephew Joseph Bourgoin (Francie Sarna); and his great-niece Taylor Bourgoin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Greg's name to the Johnson Cancer Center.
