He was predeceased by: his parents, Corneil "Neil" and Sophie Meyering (Schweissinger); his wife Judith A. "Judie" Bolema; his brothers-in-law, Larry and Curtis Bolema; and his nephew Kevin Bolema.
He is survived by: his sons, Ross Meyering (Teri) and Dean Meyering (Cindy); his grandchildren, Megan Brinks (Chris), Blake Meyering and Nicholas Meyering; his great grandchildren, Harper and Chase Brinks; his sister Marion Darrow (Bob); his sisters-in-law, Patricia Bolema and Sharon Bolema; and his close friend Mary Jane Wolffis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Calvin Christian Reformed Church Youth Group or to the Muskegon Rescue Mission.
