He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Dekker and Elizabeth Dekker (Wiersma); his wife Delores "Dee" Smith; his great grandchild Adelaide; and his siblings, Charles Dekker and Bette Ann Dekker.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Dekker (Debra), Daniel Dekker (Shari) and Debbie Pipoly (Mark); his grandchildren, Antonia Cutler (Adam), Joshua Dekker (Kim), Adam Dekker (Kathryn), Andrea Dekker, Jessica Dekker (Ryan Fowler), Ashlee Mishler (Alex) and Nikole Pipoly; his great grandchildren, AJ, Madison, Gabriel, Sofia, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Caleb and Devin; and his friend Richard "Winkie" Wenk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice Foundation or Laketon Bethel Church.
