It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Allen Vanhassel (Muskegon, Michigan), born in Hart, Michigan, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John VanHassel and Nellie VanHassel (Morrison); his son Gregory; and his brothers, Bob, Bill and John.

He is survived by: his wife Naoma Spence; his son James Allen VanHassel (Corey); his grandson Allen VanHassel; and his siblings, Larry, Tom, Betty and Linda.
