He was predeceased by: his wife Eva. He is survived by: his sons, Bill Heckathorn (Micki) and Anthony Heckathorn; his grandchildren, Phillip Heckathorn, James Heckathorn (Grace), Ava Zager (Matt), Michael Heckathorn, Kelsie Heckathorn (James) and Sierra Neuroth; and his siblings, Joyce (Jerry), Jim and Bob (Mary).
He gives students the opportunity to study the human body, help advance medicine, and further the care of others suffering with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League or the Alzheimer's Association.
