He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mahan and Shirley Mahan (Weiss); and his parents-in-law, Don and Marie Bates. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Bates (Linda); his daughters, Kathleen Larsen, Amy White (Bob), Angela Williams (Antwon) and Audra Mahan; his grandchildren, Kendra Houston (Devontay), Corey Larsen, Jimmy White, Courtney Larsen (Brian), Tony Curry (Kate), Garrison Curry (Rhiannon), Kayondra and Kaymalijah Mahan; his siblings, Debra Nelson (Dale) and Raymond Mahan; and his sister-in-law Susan Bates. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
