He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard DeRose and Jeanette DeRose (Newmyer); his children, Richard (Rebecca) of North Carolina and Martha Pinsky (Adam) of Washington State; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Kowal (Christopher), Sarah Deiters (Alex), Nicholas DeRose, Samuel Pinsky and Benjamin Pinsky; his sister Leona Ludwig; his wife Lydia; and his sister Florence Holstine.
