We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2023, at the age of 87, Frances M. Herrell in Muskegon, Michigan, born in Pontotoc, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermon Owens and Birdie Owens Sr. (Woods); her husband Robert Herrell; her son Anthony Herrell; her grandson Elijah Walker; her stepgrandchild Darrick Herrell; and her siblings, Hermon Owens Jr., Charles Stewart, Ruth O'Neal, Lois Davis, Martha Jane Ware and Daisy Goens.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Allen (James Jr.); her stepson Robert Herrell Jr.; her grandchildren, Jaime Steward (Craig), James Allen III (Chioma), Carie Sailes (Brandon) and Audree Herrell (Daniel); her great grandchildren, James Allen IV, Jonathan Allen, Maya Steward, Braedon Sailes, Brycen Sailes, Cheyanne Sailes and I'Leah Webb; her stepgreat-grandchild Darrion Herrell; and her siblings, Rev. Lefate Owens (Ora), Joe Kelly Owens and Lowree McDonald (Wiley). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
