She is survived by: her children, Robert Charles (Jamille) and Bonita Charles; her grandchildren, Shantele Charles, Chevela Charles, Sherrill Henton, Darius Merritt, Dante Merritt, Shauntrice Charles, Shayla Charles, Alexander Robinson and Aleasa Robinson; her siblings, Alvin Charles, Fred Charles, Felicia Evans, Aljean Gray and Georgia Stephens; her niece Fontrise Charles; her cousin Credall Rowell; and her close friends, Alberta Barnes and Hattie Gray. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
