She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosemarie Wheeler (Williamson) and Eugene Robert Wheeler; her husband Douglas Herbert; her sons, Brad Memberto and Robert Membert0; her siblings, Jeanie, Patty Hekkema and Bobby Wheeler Jr.; and her former husband Joseph Memberto.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Elizabeth Merrill (Greg), Olivia Kooiker (Tycen), Brooke Paradine (Andrew), Nikki Ruiz, Ryan Glover, Ryan Memberto, Rylee Memberto, Raquel Memberto and Sophie Memberto; and her sister Shirley Karafa.

In Lieu of Flowers the family asks for support of Ev's cousin and friend Wendy VanHohenstein Sullivan's grandson's recovery from a recent accident.
