She was predeceased by: her parents, John Deiters and Helen Deiters; and her husband James Hitsman. She is survived by: her children, Candy Hitsman, Cindy Knight (Eugene), Steven Hitsman (Cindy), Tim Hitsman (Dena), Randy Hitsman and Kris Wahmhoff. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
