With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Marie Peterson of Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jakobsen and Paula Jakobsen (Jensen); her husband Elmer Peterson; and her siblings, Jorgen, Greta and Thyra.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Peterson (Lorraine), Don Peterson (Carol) of North Carolina, Mary Coyne (Mike) of North Muskegon, Jim Peterson of Muskegon and Ruth Jackson (Bert) of Muskegon; and her siblings, Jenny MacKenzie, Aase Gowin (Bob) and Anna Haverland. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
