Elizabeth Colella Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2019, at the age of 82, Elizabeth Colella (Muskegon, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Burghduf and Maude Burghduf (James); her husband Bernard L. "Ben" Colella, Sr.; and her siblings, James Burghduf, Luella Harmsen and Virginia Markavich.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Voorhies (Randy) of Muskegon, Bernard L. "Bernie" Colella, Jr. of Texas and James "Jim" Colella (Tam) of California; her grandchildren, Becky Biesiada, Leanne Voorhies, Michael Voorhies, Rachel Colella, Kayla Colella, Joshua Beard and Sonia Langiano; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Andrew, Zach, Ben, Samantha, Summer and Joe; her siblings, Bob Burghduf (Carole) of Muskegon, Bonnie Gebhart of Muskegon and Helen Lensegrav of Muskegon; and her close friend Jim Thies. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First Presbyterian Church.
