With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elessie Mitchell (Muskegon, Michigan), born in Midway, Texas, who passed away on February 16, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jones and Jessie Mae Mitchell; his son Jalvin Walker; his grandparents, Henrietta and Howard Young; his sister Peggy Jones; and his daughter-in-law Ashley Upson-Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Mitchell; his children, Jeri Lynn Stoneham, Charmin Rena Jones, Nathaniel Alan Jones, Elessie Gabriel Walker, Myron Curtis Walker and Tre Walker; and his adoptive daughter Sabrina Michelle Groeneveld. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help with expenses.
