He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Sanders and Maggie Sanders; his son Michael Williams; his brother Frank (Dorothy Rae); and his cousin Caleb Sanders.
He is survived by: his spouse Ruthel Williams; his children, Denise Williams (Robert), Hampton, Anita Alexander (Gregory), Edward Jr., Christopher (Amanda), Maurice, Melanie Sanders-Jones, Ricky Rayford of Muskegon, MI, Brenda Carson, James Williams (Jessie), Paulette File (Robert), NJ, Marilyn of Washington and Mark Williams (Rhea); and his friends, Anthony Sargent and Dominic Gray. He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
