He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon and Francis; his brother Bryan; and his stepfather Jim. He is survived by: his son Edward Louis Burnes Jr. (Susie Tyler); his brothers, Greg and Gary Burnes; and his stepsisters, Lori and Lennette. He is also survived by half-brother, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
