It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Turner (Muskegon, Michigan), born in Camden, Arkansas, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Minor Gilbert and Frances Gilbert (Toney); her husband Eddie Turner; her stepmother Martha; and her siblings, Thirston, Theodore and Jennifer.
She is survived by: her children, Thirston Donald, John Lewis, Theodore Roosevelt, Minor Wallace, Jr., Dulcie Jean, Jennifer Vernette, Geneva Annette, Kenneth Charles, Alfred James, Edith Marie, Jacqueline Kay, Barbara Jean, Joyce Elaine, Marilyn Theresa, Karen Denise, Bonnie Michelle and Felisa Renée; her grandchildren, Bryant, Christopher, Kenna, Steven, Andreco, Marilein, Shakia, Shanna, Larry, Leslie, Essence and Briana; her friend Bertha Tillman; and her siblings, John, Dulcie and Geneva. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews, two sister-in-laws and two son-in-laws, and a very large number of friends.
The Golden Rule was the rule and foundation for her and her children.
