She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne; her siblings, Leonard, Norman, Harold, Joseph, Luella Burmeister, Marjorei Sedig and Donna Porter; and her great grandchild Heather Black.
She is survived by: her children, Carmen Black (Colon) and Larry Simonson (Judith) of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Kenneth Black (Joan), Jerry Black, Amy Black, Michael Black (Angela), Ellen Bowman and Martin Simonson; her great grandchild Alicia Black of Lorelei Bowman; and her siblings, Max Burmeister of Muskegon, Jack Burmeister of Muskegon, Ona Isley of Shelby and Ethel Hallett of Charlotte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
