With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy June Christenson in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on July 24, 2022 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian DeVries and Johanna DeVries (Zicterman); her husband Eugene "Chris" Christenson; her siblings, Bernard, Willard and Helen; and her sister-in-law Millie DeVries Cooper.
She is survived by: her son Terry Christenson (Jackie); her grandchildren, Jennie Alpaugh (Reade), Cynthia Christenson (Amar Patel), Remy Christenson, Seren Christenson and Elowynn Christenson; her stepgrandchildren, Grant and Rhiannon Leed; her great grandchildren, Sophia Alpaugh, Aiden Alpaugh and Avery Patel; her nieces, Joann DeVries, Barb Brink (Roger) and Pam Correll (Don); her nephew Tom DeVries (Jan); and her close friends, Lois Craymer, Marleen Dykstra and Kathy Wysozan.
A private service will be held, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
