She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jacob Brondsema (Jack) and Trena Brondsema (Krozee); her husbands, Ysburn Hommes (Izzy) and Frank Ruiter; her children, Carol and Jack (Judy Erickson) of Roosevelt Park; her stepchildren, Kim Ruiter (Karon) of Zeeland and Ron Ruiter; her grandchildren, Jim Hommes (Kory), Steve Hommes (Chelley), Vikki (Lars Reuter), Barbara (Mike Woudwyk) and Rondi (Kyle Buris); her sisters, Harriett Cooper of Muskegon and Pearl Redder of Spring Lake; her son-in-law Ronald Bostrom; her brothers-in-law, Al Cooper and Bob Redder; her grandchildren, Beverly Hommes and Bill Bostrom; her nephews, Kent Redder and Jim Cooper; and her niece Mary Bevins. She was also cherished by 17 great grandchildren; 11 great, great grandchildren.
