He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orvil Heistand and Inez Heistand (Holmes); his children, Marc Heistand (Theresa) of Dewitt and Renee Allen of Brighton; his grandchildren, Brad Allen, Jack Allen, Molly Heistand and Drake Allen; and his sisters, Linda Anderson of Muskegon and Jan Parker (Don) of Rockford. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
