He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph S. Major and Doris Major (Schafer); his wife Marla Webster; his children, Elisabeth Major of Muskegon, Melissa Major (Doug Scott) of Aiken, SC and Joel Major (Debra) of Okemos; his grandchildren, Haley, Andrew, Chad, Anne and Gillian; and his great grandchildren, Graham and Teagan.
