She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Diggs and Lizzie Diggs Sr.; her husband Joe Drake; her siblings, Thomas Diggs, Edward Diggs, Van Diggs Jr. and Flora Davis; and her grandsons, Henry Mason and Jamal Houston.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Diggs (Angela), Tishena Drake, Douglas Diggs, Patricia Diggs, Michael Diggs and Karsandra Wesley (Mario); her siblings, Velma Willis (Joe Willie), Bettie Henderson, Mary Webster (Arthur), Charles Diggs (Rosie), Willie Diggs and William Diggs; her niece Gelinda Diggs; and her daughter Latasha German. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
