He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sue Zuidema, Robert "Robbie" and Joe. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy DeBoer (Jason) and Stefanie Welch (Rick); his grandchildren, Chase Wallace, Richie Welch, Cooper Welch, Mason Welch, Pierson DeBoer (Natalie), Braden DeBoer, Ian DeBoer, Anthony DeBoer and Harley Henderson; his brothers, Wally "Buster" Wallace, Terry Wallace and Steve Wallace (Richelle); and his in-laws, Jim Ridge, Cathy Kern, Karen Conwell (Don) and Joy Wallace. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Clock Funeral Home (1469 Peck St, Muskegon, MI 49441). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
