He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Phillips and Laura Phillips (Comstock); and his daughter Ranee Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Judy Sanford; his children, Tina Phillips, Randy Phillips, David Phillips Jr., Anthony Price, Shannon Owens, Shawn Owens, Shaw Owens, Georgia Walker, Hope VanTassel, Mykel VanTassel and Tazhia Walker; and his son-in-law Guy Phillips Jr.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23+ great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
