He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Scouten and Melvina Scouten (Borgarding); his siblings, Maxine Shannon and Donald; and his daughter Susan.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Witham Jr. (Errica), Kristen Hendrickson (Steve), Tracie Samdal and Molly Graves (Brian); his grandchildren, Matthew, Nikole, Seth, Danielle, Jessica Witham, Katie, Sarah (Nick Arnold), Ben Hendrickson, Devon, Whitney Samdal, Ella and Samantha Graves; and his sister Arlene Elder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
