He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cornelius Kooi and Pauline Kooi (Harkness); his wife Diane Tripp; his sister Joanne Forrest (Duane); his sister-in-law Ardith Kooi; and his nieces and nephews, Tamie Tripp, Melissa Forrest, Susan Ungrey, Sherry Forrest, Robert Kooi and Mike Forrest.
