He was predeceased by: his parents, Gretchen Kammen and Clarence Van Kammen; his brother Kenneth; his wife Ellen Van Kammen; his grandson Steven Van Kammen; his great grandchild Oliver Van Kammen; and his nieces, Martha Poore and Christine Rolfe.
He is survived by: his children, David Van Kammen (Sharon), Craig Van Kammen and Susan Carlson (Bryan); and his nephews, John Van Kammen, Mark Van Kammen and Scott Rolfe. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren.
