He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cumings and Ruth Cumings (Salisbury); his wife Sharon; and his siblings, Art, Ted, Fritz, Don, George and Dolly Mae.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn VanDongen, Richard Cumings and Darwin Cumings, Jr.; and his sisters, LaNore Deters and Carolynn Favreau. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
