He is survived by: his wife Lynn Ames; his stepchildren, Sharrie Holmes and Andy Waugh; his grandchildren, Valerie, Charlotte and Levi; and his siblings, James Visger (Deborah) and Judy McCauley (Forrest). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
