He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Bub" Meier and Dorothy Meier (Schreiber); and his brother John Meier. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Meier; his children, Sandra Midlam (Al) of Charlotte, NC, Thomas Meier (Alison) of Grand Haven and Joseph Meier (Sara) of Grosse Pointe; his grandchildren, Jack Midlam, Samantha Midlam, Ivy Meier, Theo Meier, Jacob Meier and Lucas Meier; and his sister-in-law Becky Meier.
