He was predeceased by: his parents, David and Alice Buckhalter Sr. (Freeman); and his brother Ronald Buckhalter. He is survived by: his son Daniel Buckhalter Jr. (Jennifer) of Muskegon; his grandsons, Austin Buckhalter and Evan Buckhalter; his brother David Buckhalter Jr. (Marge) of Hart; and his sister-in-law Sue Buckhalter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
