He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Cassidy and Mariea I. Cassidy (Kammerer); and his siblings, Patrick Cassidy and Jeanne Blackburn. He is survived by: his wife Lana Cassidy; his daughter Sarah J. Daniell (Cory); his grandsons, Lincoln and Connor Daniell; and his sisters, Sharon Whitaker and Sara Karnavas.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Veterans Inc., The Harbor Hospice Foundation, or Big Lake humane Society.
