He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Madalyn (Gould); his siblings, Norma Tufts (Don), Larry Gauthier (Char), Donald Gauthier (Gloria), Ray Gauthier, Vernon Gauthier and James Gauthier; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Kennedy and Ted Christianson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Westgate; his children, Joe Gauthier (Kathie) of Muskegon, Robyn Doctor (Larry) of Muskegon, Lisa Gauthier Wahala (Wayne) of Brooklyn, Dr. Carolyn Berghuis (Scott) of Carmel, Robert Bullard (Kate) of Carmel and Richard Bullard of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his sisters, Louise Christianson and Alice Kennedy; and his sister-in-law Janice Gauthier. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
