Curtis Lee Henderson Obituary
Mr. C.L Henderson, age 75 of Muskegon, MI went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2022, at Mercy Hospital. C.L. was born in Geiger, AL on November 10, 1946, to Callie Henderson and Johnny Henderson. In 1969, at age 22 C.L. moved to Muskegon, MI where he united with the Greater Harvest Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. Clayborn Casey, and accepted Christ as his personal savior. In his later years, C.L. married Shirley A. Wiseman, and from their union four children were born. Later, in years he married Reynette Hamilton.
C.L. held numerous jobs in the Muskegon area. For over 30 years he was employed at CWC Textron as a driver and machine operator. In C.L.'s spare time he enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, gardening, farming, fixing cars, remodeling houses, watching westerns, and spending time with his family. C.L. was big on family. His home was filled with laughter, love, and great memories. Family gatherings were important to C.L. He will always be remembered for helping those he knew, strangers, and others from the community.

Daughters- LeeAndrea (Anthony) Henderson-Trainer, Rose M. Henderson, Tamara Dean, Lakisha Moore, all from Muskegon, MI. Chiquita (Cornelius) Wells, Memphis, TN, , Kimberly (Robert) Cryer St. Louis, MO. Aishia Shelmon, Grand Prairie, TX, his brothers, Curtis Henderson, Muskegon, MI, John Henderson, North Carolina, Henry (Tina) Henderson, South Carolina. C.L. has 45 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Three special friends, Kathy Pollard, Charles (Pete) Patton and Louis (Lou) Thomas.
C.L. was preceded in death by his parents-Callie and Johnny Henderson, sisters-Ruby Adams, Gloria Donley, and Bertha Adams, brothers-Robert Henderson and Richard Henderson. Also preceded him in death, a special friend Beverly A. Shelmon.
