It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Jake Cotton of Muskegon, Michigan, born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Cotton and Lillian Cotton (Bates); his siblings, Dafroe Cotton, Carlander Cotton and Joyce Sanders; and his great-niece Asia Frierson.
He is survived by: his sons, Antonio Rosas of Spring Lake and Marcus Cotton; his girlfriend Mary McLaurin; his granddaughter A'Kaylee Cotton; his nieces, Lajoy Frierson and Latoya Cotton; and his nephew Ricky Sanders. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
