She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schindorf and Crescentia Schindorf; her husband Gerald "Jerry" Cook; her grandson Jerry Cook; and her close friend Bob Cross.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Cook (Nancy), Glenn Cook (Clara), Kathy Hall (Tim) and Karen Kotecki (Steve); and her sister Ethel Niles. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren.
