He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Milt" and Ruth LaFayette (Ludlam); his brother Raymond LaFayette; and his sister-in-law Tressa LaFayette. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard "Red" LaFayette of Muskegon and Ruth Durham (Dick) of Norton Shores; his sister-in-law Eilene LaFayette; and his niece Jan Durham. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
