She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Fitzgerald and Rophena Fitzgerald (Hill); her daughter Geraldine Hoagland; and her grandson Gerald G. Sumerix, III. She is survived by: her husband Gerald G. Sumerix, Sr.; her children, Rophena Rau (Michael), Carol Parker (Leo) and Gerald Sumerix, Jr. (Cheryl); and her sister Dottie Gagnon. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
