He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Michell and Cora Mae Penrode; and his sister Debbie Place. He is survived by: his wife Rosalee; his children, Cody Mitchell of Muskegon, Chris Mitchell (Alicia) of Muskegon and Courtney Mitchell of Muskegon; his grandchildren, Aiyana, Armando, Ayden and Sawyer; and his siblings, Diane Key, Mike Borsch, Curtis Ecker, David Rice and Carter Mitchell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
