He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lyle Gilbert and Thelma Gilbert (Coles); his wife Mary Ann McWilliams; his daughters, Tammy Carnes (Kevin) and Terrie Burt (Derek); his grandchildren, Jessica Patricio (Justin Baker), Kal Patricio (Nicole), Aryn MacKay (Tim), Hayden Patricio (Kyle Santman), Summer Patricio, Tyler Carnes, Kaitlyn Carnes (Scotty Sittser), Courtney Gilbert (Erik White), Lance Burt and Emily Burt; his great grandchildren, Landen, Torren, Rowen, Addie G., Skylar, Savannah, Zak, Mady, Josiah and Magnolia; his brother Lynn Gilbert (Brenda); and his nieces and nephews, Joanne, Crystal, Scott and William.
