She is survived by: her daughters, Lavetta Powers (Richard), Donette Williams (Willie), Tameka Smith, Tamara and Teenya Brown; her siblings, Gail Sotelo, Larry Smith (Debra), Roger Lee Smith-Churchwell and Curtis Smith (Gwen); her partner Bennie Sanders; her sister Deborah Gay Terrell; and her cousins, Ethel Liggings and Delores Brown.
