She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Kops and Elnora Kops; her husband Clyde L. McGruther Sr.; her son Denzil Gene Nichols; and her siblings, Yvonne McGruther (Richard), Shirley Wren (Sam) and Paul Kops.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley J. Ross (Sam), Georgetta L. Hussey (Stan), Verna Nichols and Clyde L. McGruther Jr. (Jeanette Lee); her brother Fritz Kops (Linda); and her sister-in-law Rebba Kops. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing will also be observed.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
