He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lyle Evans and Maude Evans (Young); his wife Wilma Vanderlaan; and his children, Bernie Jr., Jim, Nancy, Jeanne, Jeff and Milva. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
