He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Macomber and Lillian Macomber (Krusyna); his son Ron Macomber; his siblings, Mary Macomber, Ed, CJ, Bob and Jolly Johnson; and his grandson River Macomber.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Rice; and his children, Bennie Macomber, Jr. (Deb), Randy Macomber, Jolly Ann Macomber, Larry Macomber (Tracy), Susan Giudice (Bob) and David Macomber (Melissa). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 20 great-grand children.
