He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adolphus E. Aldridge and Nellie Aldridge (Smith); his children, Rodney (Mia), Robin Hicks and Basil W. (Kristi); his grandchildren, John (Katie), Matt (Sarah), Adam (Ashley), Sarah (Joshua), Derek (Melissa), Jessica (Troy), Lacey (Matt), Christopher (Samantha) and Karly; and his sister Donna Martin of Kingsley. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
He will be cremated through Ever Rest Funeral Home and, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the family will hold a private ceremony at Bridgeton Cemetery to bury his ashes alongside Wynola.
