He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dahlstedt and Susie Dahlstedt (Horness); his wife Evelyn Butor; his children-in-law, John Bamfield, Susan Dahlstedt and Laurel Dahlstedt; and his siblings, Wallace and Donna.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Dennis Dahlstedt of Bloomfield Hills, Thomas Dahlstedt of Grand Rapids and Julie Bamfield (Dennis Wasserman) of Muskegon; and his sisters, Carol Grennor of Tampa, FL and Ardys Leafstrand of Wheaton, IL.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
