With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alta D. Gonzalez of Muskegon, Michigan, born in Bad Axe, Michigan, who passed away on June 6, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Ward and Nelly Apley (King); her husband Joseph H. Gonzalez Sr.; her grandchildren, Dana and Samantha Gonzalez; and her son-in-law David Haas.

She is survived by: her children, Rosalie Haas, Linda Brissette (John), Joseph H. Gonzalez Jr. (Donna), Rodney Gonzalez and Michael Gonzalez (Summer); her grandchildren, Tina Cariker (David), Lita Fisher (Brian), Karina Ulfsax and Drs; her sister Inez Gerstenschlager; and her siblings-in-law, Ray Gonzalez (Rita) and Ellena Gonzalez.
